How do solar panels work? – Richard Komp

View full lesson:

The Earth intercepts a lot of solar power: 173,000 terawatts. That’s 10,000 times more power than the planet’s population uses. So is it possible that one day the world could be completely reliant on solar energy? Richard Komp examines how solar panels convert solar energy to electrical energy.

Naveen Kumar says:

Rajasthan's Bhadla Solar Park is the largest producer of solar energy in the World, producing 2245 MW.
Karnataka's Pavagada Solar Park or (Shakthi Sthala) is the second largest Solar Park in the World producing 2050 MW.

Try it and your get better for solar energy

Arin Olsen Svebak says:

Fun fact: here in the Nordic countries, solar panels are more energy efficient than for example Sahara. Because it’s so cold here. A professor I know has solar power as his specialty, and that’s where I got it from. But we only have sunlight for halv a year many places though.

Hasnat Chowdhury says:

why not put them in antractica, always sunny?

Eyex says:

You can also run your room on solar here is my tutorial:

Natural man says:

this solar projects are destructive to nature. They should be placed on houses not to destroy the deserts.

Shantelle Adeline says:

I did it quickly and efficiently with instructions from Avasva webpage.

alka Gupta says:

Does it depend on the amount of sunlight received by the solar cells

Sergio Perez says:

Oh and wait it also kills birds!

cristiam mott says:

new technics development whose features involve researchings about solutions possible alternatives of a given issue such save the enviroment by solar energy means

Brian McAuliffe says:

This video fails to show cost of solar power in comparison to other methods to generate electricity. Yes the Sahara Dessert has lots of space put how do you transport the electricity to where it it needed. Hoe much does the effects of the sand storms have on the life of the solar cells. Too simplistic.

I though solar panels were made of diodes

Akhil Surabhss says:

(From the future ) solar energy🤭🤭😆 you still don't have enough electricity 😩

Dalibor Markovic says:

Just wonderful, I have been researching "how to make your own solar energy system" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across – Piyaarter Uncomplex Preeminence – (search on google )?

It is a smashing exclusive product for discovering how to generate energy-on-demand without the headache. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my m8 got amazing success with it.

Sun Evolution says:

I loved the video. I provide free solar quotes in New jersey /Pennsylvania/New York.,
