DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse says:

Pallet shipping costs are standard when you buy large solar panels. Whether it's from signature solar, santan solar, shop solar kits, alte store etc etc. The prices are pretty much the same. Sometimes a carrier will be $20 cheaper. If you ship a whole pallet, you will save a ton.

The shipping cost is still crazy cheap compared to spending the gas and driving out to Arizona yourself. Unless you live down the street from the place.

Matthew says:

$50 a panel. is that including tariffs? So in other countries these might be even cheaper?

Abe frowman says:

No shipping options? Bummer.. would have been a great deal.

Nathaniel Ulm says:

Hey Will,
Great content as usual! Whenever you run out of projects, have you ever thought of making a TSA/FAA compliant modular solar generator? I know the limit is something like 100W per battery pack. It would be cool to see your ideas!

Henry says:

I think it's good to test different solar modules. Would it be possible to test AE SMART HOT-SPOT FREE MONOCRYSTALLINE PV MODULES AE MB-72 Series 370W- 385W from AE Solar PERC Technology because I only found advertising videos but no tests of them. In my opinion, the topic of hotspot free has potential when it comes to shading.

Aed Gvv says:

they dont ship to canada 🙁

Ted Kidd says:

Jack Rickards selfish solar (evtv)

David Smith says:

I've been so tempted to buy some of these, enough to cover my roof.
Alas I have a huge maple tree in the yard and even if I cut it down, in winter most of the 10-2PM hours it would be shaded by a neighbor's tree.

Chris Cord says:

Ігор Квачун says:

Justin Weston says:

lol, They're cheaper than plywood of the same size!

Owen Bubar says:

I'm looking to purchase an EB240. Would a pair of these work best in series or parallel?

John Lowery says:

Please man I really need help I don't understand if I don't know if I can do it or not I just need someone to tell me yes or no

John Lowery says:

I would like to know how to be able to hook them to my existing power inverter converter in my RV I was going to acquire 10 of them would that be enough to power the RV and if I can't can you tell me what I would need to get so I can

david contreras says:

Hey Will, I have 17 solar panels installed on my house in Plano TX. I have the grid tied system.
I am wondering if I can maximize the solar panel system out. i think mine are 250W each. So if I want to add more panels and max out my inverter or can I add a off grid system….. I like the new bi-facial panels.
I could use those over a carport and back yard porch . Right now is real good time to purchase solar panels for sure.

WestCocoaGorilla says:

Thanks for the tip on the panels and clamp meter. Re: Bifacial panels; for next year, I was thinking about building a aluminum frame only carport and populating it with bifacial panels only instead of the metal roofing panels. I thought the concrete would provide some ambient/reflected radiation and the panels would be high enough to get plenty of ventilation to keep cool. I thought I would construct it with a slant/shed roof style instead of a traditional gable end. It looks like you could something similar in your driveway and have a canopy of bifacial panels over the concrete drive; though you would have to get a permit. Thanks again.

Very GOOD. Man.
